Home Health Care

Home Health Care is an interdisciplinary service that forms part of Counties Manukau DHB Community Services. Cover extends from Mangere (excluding Otahuhu) to Mercer and across to both coasts.  There are four community-based sites located at Howick (Botany), Orakau Road Mangere, Papakura, Pukekohe and a sub-base at Waiuku. The service is available to people in their own home or at a clinic facility, and care is provided based on an assessment of need. 

There is no age limit unless specified in each speciality.

  • Respiratory Educators (now with Respiratory Service based at Middlemore Hospital)
  • Rheumatic Fever Educators
  • Dietitians
  • District Nurses
  • Home Services
  • Personal Care/Home Help
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Social Workers
  • Speech Language Therapists
