areas for resuscitation and monitoring, with 6 resuscitation rooms.
There is a 27 bed adult assessment area, 2 adult procedure rooms, a
dedicated plastering room, and an ENT room. Within the confines of the
department is a partially separate paediatric area. This has direct
access to 2 of the resuscitation rooms, has 14 acute assessment rooms,
and a procedure room. There is also a 13 bed paediatric short stay area.
Also within the confines of the department is a 24 bed adult short stay
