Health Services We FundMental HealthCounties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) funds a range of mental health services in the local Counties Manukau area. These services focus on supporting people with the most serious mental health problems to achieve recovery and live a full life. The services are mainly based in the community with access to inpatient services available when necessary. The information that you will find in this area is mainly related to the funding and planning of mental health services in Counties Manukau. It includes information about plans to improve services and plans to develop new services. There is a list of services and contact details under “Hospital & Specialist Services”. If you need more specific information about what services are available and how to access them, please see our information on http://www.healthpoint.co.nz. Our focus is to strengthen and develop the range of mental health services available for the people of Counties Manukau and to constantly strive to improve the way in which these services are delivered. We do this through working collaboratively with local and regional groups including working in partnership with people who use mental health services.
