Franklin Memorial Hospital

As the name suggests, this Hospital (opened in 1923) was a war memorial; bequeathed to Waiuku.  It was originally a general hospital before becoming an Obstetric Hospital in 1956. 

Franklin Memorial Hospital specialises in non-acute adult rehabilitation and care.  This includes palliative care and long stay residential care.  Franklin Memorial Hospital currently has 36 staff for 18 beds
